That's great! Just get in touch with us hello@yogahero.co.uk and we'll clarify the cost for you to join the 300 hour yoga teacher training and what modules you'll need to attend.

We'd really, really recommend prioritising coming to all the modules live. Aside from this live teaching time, you'll want to have time to commit to a personal practice of at least 30 minutes at least three time per week (or more if you can!). Plus we'd suggest about an hour per week home study time. Finally, each month, we'll have a one-hour meet up on The Base, to catch up, answer anything that's unclear, work together to overcome any barriers to study or personal practice and cover anything that any of our trainees need to cover.
-
You most certainly do! You can take a fabulous 20% off either the one-payment or 12-payment options mentioned above.

That's understandable, yoga teacher. There's a couple of things we want to make sure you know about first.
Firstly, is that in each module, we include ideas about how you can use what we've covered in your yoga offerings. More often than not, this is in form of ideas for workshops that you can host, or courses that you can teach. This is for two reasons - 1) so that the information you've learnt becomes part of you as a yoga teacher and 2) so there's no waiting time before you start to earn back your 300 hour yoga training fee.
Secondly, we do have a scholarship programme for this training. Simply apply for your space, tick that you'd like to discuss the bursary, and we'll have a chat about it at that stage.
-
In short, yes there is. However if you're immediately thinking 'OH NO!' - remember our number one rule: we'll never teach you something, or ask you to do a task, that we don't believe to be inherently useful, and immediately usable as a yoga teacher.
There's three main assignments; 1) to write your yoga bio, 2) to write a reflective essay on your teaching before, during and after our training and 3) to revisit and update (if applicable) your yoga brand. And if you're wondering how on earth to do that, don't worry yoga teacher, we'll be giving you absolutely everything that you need during our training!
Meet your trainer
Hi! I’m Holly, and I’m beyond excited to lead you through your 300 hour yoga teacher training.
I started teaching yoga in order to learn more about this practice that had crept quietly in to my life, reached out in to all my corners of stress, imposter syndrome, burning the candle at both ends and all the other things that we hear about so often, and had dampened them down to make life feel more wonderful. Initially I’d hoped to teach yoga to friends, now and again, and that was it. But somehow, six months after graduating, I was handing in my notice at my fun-but-very-imposter-syndromey job to teach yoga full time, and accepting I’d move back in with my mum if it all went awry.
Some two years later, I opened Yoga Hero, initially inviting yoga teachers to come and teach; either on the timetable if they were already pretty confident, or to work with me to build up their personal style (and build up their confidence in the process), which then evolved in to Yoga Hero’s highly respected 200 hour yoga teacher training.
I am extremely passionate about helping yoga teachers achieve their potential. I work with so many people who have the potential to transform lives, but they’re held back by self-doubt, by imposter syndrome (which I viscerally remember from my old job!) and by lack of confidence. Over the years of curating Yoga Hero’s 200 hour teacher training, I have realised that building confidence is an entirely practical process. It’s not “Come on, you can do it, I believe in you!”, but instead, a gentle, compounding, timely process of showing yourself; proving to yourself, that you can do it.
With that in mind, each module on our 300 hour yoga teacher training is carefully crafted and curated to continually show you, to prove to you, that you can teach evidence-based techniques. That you can explain the foundations of yoga philosophy. That you can build a sustainable yoga business, that nourishes you, too.
Over the years, I have done tons of research in to how people learn, and I’ve developed a style of teaching that takes potentially big, complicated subjects, like yoga philosophy, or neurobiology, and break them down into manageable chunks. Anything and everything that I truly believe that yoga teachers should know and understand is repeated, repeated, repeated. So you can be sure that when you join a module, you’ll graduate that module with instilled knowledge and the confidence to bring that knowledge in to your classes right away.
Aside from working alongside some very lovely and talented people at Yoga Hero, I’m a mum, a wife and proud owner of Doug the Pug. I love to travel, I love seeing friends perhaps over the odd beer and I love Formula 1.

300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
The Modules
Myofascial release, energetic anatomy and yoga
Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th March 2025, 8:30 - 4:30
Held at Yoga Hero
Yoga is so much more than just the asanas, it affects all of our anatomical systems, our state of mind, overall mental health… and so much more.
This module dives deep in to two important but often unexplored areas of yoga; the fascia and energetic anatomy, and the unique relationship these two share.
Both fascial anatomy and energetic anatomy have a huge impact on our physical and mental wellbeing. This unique training will break down what fascia is, how it impacts our physical and mental health, and how to use this knowledge to create a rewarding and therapeutic practice for ourselves and our yogis, before exploring yoga’s subtle energy; prana, nadis, chakras and prana vayus and the role of prana in understanding holistic health. We’ll bring this altogether, to understand the relationship between movement, myofascial release, energetic anatomy and how we feel.
Expect to graduate with a whole host of options now at your disposal to layer on to your classes, feeling inspired and ready to teach what you’ve learned, and to integrate learnings in to your own practice for your own wellbeing.
Yoga and the neurobiology of stress
Monday 23rd - Thursday 26th June 2025, 8:30 - 4:30
Held online
Stress is omnipresent. And it’s having an effect on every area of people’s lives: physical wellbeing, anxiety, sleep, appetite, immune function and so, so much more.
Yoga is a deeply valuable and effective tool in managing stress, that we know from our own experience, but this module dives deep in to WHY yoga helps manage stress and decreases many of the negative effects of stress; breaking down peer-reviewed research on the vast impact of stress, and how yoga is an antidote to this impact, with the aim of encouraging you, yoga teacher, manage stress in your life, whilst also giving you data, research, tools, techniques and skills to help your yogis manage stress in their own lives.
This training delves into the intricate relationship between yoga practices and the neurobiological mechanisms underlying stress responses. Through a blend of theory, experiential learning and practical techniques, you will deepen your understanding of stress physiology and learn how to integrate evidence-based yoga practices to foster resilience and promote relaxation responses in yourself, and your students.
Yoga Nidra and yoga wisdom
Monday 22nd - Thursday 25th September 2025, 8:30 - 4:30
Held at Yoga Hero
Yoga Nidra and yoga wisdom are so beautiful to learn together. By definition, yoga wisdom holds ideas that our thinking minds can't accept, can't comprehend. But, when this thinking mind is quietened, such as in Nidra, we're open to big ideas, to consolidating information, and making wonderful connections.
In this module, you’ll learn how to teach Yoga Nidra in a safe and beneficial way, and be inspired to weave in yoga philosophy in to your yoga offerings in a way that works for you and for your yogis; this might be nuggets to get people thinking in your Vinyasa classes, it might be a story in Savasana after a yoga conditioning class, or it might be a full yoga philosophy weekend retreat. This module will give you the depth of knowledge and the skills to layer your offerings with yoga wisdom in the way that’s perfectly right for your teaching.
Expect to be lead through two Yoga Nidras each day, commit to setting up a regular personal Yoga Nidra practice and even on graduation of this module, feel confident writing and teaching your own Yoga Nidra scripts to your yogis.
Restorative yoga and polyvagal theory
Monday 26th - Thursday 29th January 2026, 8:30 - 4:30
Held at Yoga Hero
This is a transformative three-day module covering Restorative Yoga and Polyvagal Theory, with a focus on providing practical, invaluable insights and tools to enhance your teaching and support healing, peace and acceptance for you, your loved ones and your yoga students.
We believe in the profound healing potential of Restorative Yoga and the transformative impact of Polyvagal Theory, and this unique training brings together these two powerful modalities to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the role of nervous system in the healing process, and how, as yoga teachers, we can seamlessly and confidently weave that role in to our offerings.
Yoga for resilience: mastering respiratory anatomy and immune support
Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th March 2026, 8:30 - 4:30
Held online
The respiratory system and the immune system have a wonderful relationship - one of those that the yogis inherently seemed to understand, and science is just catching up. Learn the importance of the diaphragm to both systems, foundational yet transformative techniques to enhance the effectiveness of these systems, and how both systems affect the rest of the body.
This training also examines the role of stress; on the respiratory system, on immune function and on overall wellbeing. Join us to examine what the evidence says about external stressors, breathing biomechanics and immune support; and how yoga has a pivotal and vital role in supporting overall wellbeing.
Teaching yoga for anxiety
Monday 1st - Thursday 4th June 2026, 8:30 - 4:30
Held at Yoga Hero
The prevalence of anxiety has, sadly, skyrocketed in the last decade or so. In 2019 the WHO stated that anxiety disorders affected 301 million people.
Anxiety disorders often deeply affect the entirety of someone’s mental and physical health; impacting the immune system; making the anxious person more susceptible to viruses, infections and / or autoimmune disorders, (and having already learnt about the immune system, you’ll now be able to completely understand why this happens). Anxiety can affect sleep, the digestive system resulting in digestive issues, and so much more.
With the prevalence of anxiety being so high, you can assume that if you’re working with people, you’ll be working with people who are experiencing an anxiety disorder. So, understanding what anxiety is from a pragmatic, biological standpoint, and then the tools that we have in our tool box as yoga teachers will be incredibly important if you’re to have a positive impact, and a lasting positive impact on people’s lives.
On-demand: Applied anatomy in yoga
On-demand
One of the fundamental challenges of learning anatomy on your 200 hour teacher Training is that you’re learning anatomical terms and language concurrently with learning the information itself. Plus, understanding why you need to know this information, might not be immediately apparent.
However now that you’re yoga teacher, you most likely understand the need to understand how the human body moves; including its limitations, where issues can occur and more. But, the information from your 200 hour training just isn’t in your head! This applied anatomy for yoga teachers on-demand module addresses these issues head on, complete with an ‘anatomical language in plain English’ module that you can return to again and again.
